im sorry guy last time i ask this question, i need to know which is better for my music being use with 5.25inch bookshelves.

  1. The Velodyne sub is a more audiophile sub. It is a VERY tight sound and is VERY clean.

    The DefTech is a little more geared to home theatre. Not quite as tight….a little, and I mean LITTLE, mushy.

    I would personally choose the Velodyne in my system…as a matter of fact…I did! I have two HGS-10’s in my audiophile system.

    i own a velodyne, there more of an audiophile sub. so i would have to say the velodyne.
