Acoupower

I have 2 sony speaker towers and a sub woofer. i plugged them all into the appropriate connectors on my dvd player but the speakers work but the sub woofer doesnt. But when i unplug the speakers the sub woofer then works. So how do i get them to work at the same time?

You will have to provide more information. DVD players do not drive speakers directly, but need external amplifiers. Submit your question again giving make and model of all components.
