The 4 channels are 1 for right front 1 for right rear 1 for left front and left rear etc. You can get a stereo or 2 channel amp and bridge the two channels together...But best to put the money in a decent mono amp instead especially if you are running one woofer. JL Audio is a decent brand, but usually is on the high end of the spectrum for price. Also the W3v2's are their mid level SQ sub.
