My sub woofer has a speaker wire ending I need to connect it to a jack type outlet.?

I don’t know how to take my sub woofer w/ speaker wire & connect it to my new a/v receiver that has a female outlet for a sub woofer.
This is a passive sub

It sounds like you may have a passive subwoofer, in which case you will not be able to. This is different from a powered subwoofer which has its own power cord and plugs into the wall. Does your subwoofer have a power cord that plugs into the wall?
