		<description>in terms of what you're going to hear, being truly &#34;air tight&#34; is not critical.  You just don't want massive leaks at every joint.  As a bit if insurance it is common practice to run a bead of caulk along all the interior joints to prevent any leaks so you might try that.

		<description>usaully fresher, newer sub woofers will do that until broken in! airtight..meaning a sealed box right? itll hit ok...more on the clear, straight, BOOM note....instead of the louder BOOM with echo, and trunk rattle you get from vented or ported box (box with a air whole)!!
