How come when I record the sound comes out of my sub woofer instead of my speakers?

Everything else comes out my speakers… like when I listen to music and everything, but for some reason the things I record with my microphone come out from my sub woofer.

check your windows setting, and use the line in, even better hook you mic thru a preamp mixer and connect that into the line in

use line-in not microphone for recording. Some mic ports are in mono 1 channel sound only.
