how can i hook up 1 15 inch sub woofer and amp to my car without a head unit?

I have 1 15 inch sub woofer and an amp. but no head unit. i have a 1996 fire bird, how can i hook them up to work without a head unit?

Without a head unit, what are you going to amplify ?? You need a source for the music…..

    Without a head unit, they wouldnt do anything.

  3. by having no head unit do you mean no aftermarket stereo? do you have a factory stereo? if you have a factory radio then you can get a line out converter. you will prolly be better off buying a aftermarket stereo because you will get a better over all sound and better control over the sound and bass.
