You look young in your picture so let my try to save you some time and money, but you probably won't listen, because your young and that's how every young person is.
But here I go....
Here's my answer...DONT INSTALL ANYTHING AFTER MARKET! I'm 30 and in the last 10 years I've had the best sound systems and modified cars, 20" rims, BMW's (7&3 series) , Expedition on 22's with two TV's,DVD, x box w/wireless remotes, with two 12's wanted to be like the DUB car show scene, and if I could take it back I wouldn't have wasted a cent on any of that trash. What a waste of money, time, and resources, but I was young and like most sane adults you will eventually learn that rims and loud car systems make you look like a loser. I get a good laugh from older men with chrome rims and bass. Your car will be broken into eventually and the system will be gone. It's not worth having a flashy car or a loud sound system. You attract not only the cops, but also the crooks. I've had 4 cars broken into for the sound system, and yes I had an alarm system they simply pop the hood and take care of business. In the end save your money and time and find something else to spend your money on. If you think I'm wrong...you'll eventually realize what I did.
References :
If it is am electrical malfunction then maybe they will try to pin it on you because of the mod. Where Your transmission goes that has nothing to do with your system they gotta fix it. In alot of cases if you modify anything on the car you will void the warranty unless toyota or a licensed affiliate does the work. It is really hit of miss with warranty company's. They will ALWAYS try to get out of a problem you have at all costs. So I guess ya in most cases ya that will void your warranty.
