What speakers would be best for my husbands car?

Its a 1993 Honda Accord with a 350 watt AMP and two 12inch subwoofers. He needs 2 new 6×9 speakers. What is a good speaker to go with and the appropriate watts needed. Someone said 300 watts is too much. Can anyone help me? I want to get them for him without him knowing so I need help figuring it out. Thanks!

i would go with the sony 6×9’s from walmart, or the pioneer ones. sony is my personal fav. i had a 1000 watt amp with two twelves and the sony 6×9’s in my older camaro and it beat like crazy but words were still loud and clear. hope this helps

sometimes watts don’t are truth on some brands so far fosgate p1 series or power line(one of best),kickers,Audiobahn or infinity are real good brands

if u want quality go with some 6×9 pioneers. pioneers are really good speakers, my opinion i would say the best
