Why is it Ferraris are rarely ever in any car video games like NFS or Midnight Club
I know they used to be in old NFS games but not any newer ones. I know Ferrari has a few games with just Ferraris, but they are rarely in games with other cars. Why is this? Does Ferrari just not give out the liscence?
the biggest issue with (ferraris in games) is that a lot of the tech behind the car is secret..not all but some.
when putting a car in to a game..the developer must first research the vehicle in question..keep in mind its not the first time a car company pulled its cars from a game or denied licensing rights..honda did the same thing just a while back (article not found) due to a concept car that was made in germany using the civics design found in [NEED FOR SPEED:underground 2]..big issues led to the removal of the cars from certain if not all games.
as for ferrari they argue that they don’t want to make the cars new tech or build public(everyone knows how secretive ferrari is about their cars) and even more having their cars damaged in a game for fear that the developers wont honor there word in minimal damage..this was the biggest problem they had with grand tourismo 5. but after all allowed sony the license to use the car.
this isn’t the case with all games..some games like NFS feature street racing and cop chases which im sure ferrari also has issues with..they have made it public that they do not encourage street racing…

I was wondering if car audio can effect the engine, I have a nice sound system. 1 800watt amp and 1000w amp the headlights dims when the bass is hitting hard. I was wondering if this can cause my engine to misfire or mess with my ignition system? I have a stock alternator, and a regular Duralast battery. PS the truck is a 98 blazer.
the subs shouldn’t mess with the everyday performance of the engine, (I.E. misfires or ignition problems) however if you were trying to get the absolute most performance- gas milage, acceleration- then the ineffectiveness of your alternator will affect your engine.

I was hoping to use 6 9V batteries in series to power something drawing around 2 or 2.5 amps. 53 or 54V would be ideal, but anything above 40V is actually acceptable for the source.
Would 6 batteries do the job? Would I have to use 12 or even more to handle the current? Or is this idea completely absurd anyway?
Not a chance - you can get the volts with series, but you can’t get over 1 amp, much less 2-2.5.
This page of tests http://www.powerstream.com/9V-Alkaline-tests.htm
shows that if you try to pull an amp (1000 ma) out of a 9 volt battery it will last for 90/1000 hours (5.4 minutes)
The long life of batteries in radios, etc., is due to drawing less than 100 ma, and at that rate delivers 3-4 hours (310 maH)

The battery is 1200 mAh, 8.4 volts.
I can set the charger anywhere from .5 to 4 amps. I have absolutely no idea how this stuff works, can someone tell me what setting of amps? Thanks!
It depends on how fast the charger is for the setting of amps. If you put it on a fast charge (high amps) the battery wont get hot until it gets to a certain point and this will only allow the battery to charge up to about 70% of what it would charge up to if you put it on low amps. If you let the batteries cool down and put them back on the charger at a slow charge then they would charge up more.

he radio of my Ranger 1996 is broken and I´ve bought a new one but I can´t get sound, I´ve tried to identify which wires connect to the loudspeakers but I got no signal. Thanks for the answers.
Trying understand what your asking.well if your wires in dash are in tact to the factory plug? Just run down to nearest wal-mart and buy a $10. Wiring harness and its simple color coded. But if they are cut up its best you let an expierianced audio tech handle it. Autozone sells repair manuals for that mocks that has wiring diagrams. And it could be the speakers are bad, a full range of things. Go old school and run new speaker wires.for a start. It all depends on how much you want to put into it.if you had an amp and system hooked to stock radio, then you need to make sure RCAs,blue remote wire are run to amp in place of the level input for stock radio. My email is deeboanderson@yahoo.com if you need to chat. Ill be glad to help

Any help is appreciated.

Would like to know how many amps there is when I plug a cigarette lighter adapter into my vehicle?
Amps are only created when there is an electrical load Amps do not exist until there is a load.
So the amount of amps something draws is how much resistance to the electrical flow there is, created by the object being used.
Most car cigarette lighter circuits in cars can handle up to 20 amps of current draw. Go over that and bye bye fuse. This protects the wiring from overheating and catching fire or burning something up, and cuts power to that circuit.

I have a box from a refrigerated truck that still has the refrigeration unit on it that I use as a stand alone cooler. I know that it is 220V but I dont know how many amps it draws. The unit on the inside of the cooler is a two fan Bohn, but I need to know how many amps the compressor/ all together draws, for electrical hookup purposes?
Not a lot- but you can check this accurately by connecting an amp meter in series.
