Update on April Sales Event:

Our April sales event has produced a significant surge in sales as the end of the month approaches. At the same time, our customers need time to communicate their needs to us and to think through different options. This process can take anywhere from a few minutes to several weeks, depending on the number of people involved and project complexity.

Several customers are feeling pressure to finalize their Acoupower purchasing decisions without completed project designs. Acoupower also, is having difficulty maintaining our standard one week turnaround time due to the increased production demands.

You win... again. We will allow you to reserve any quantity of drivers at the 15% off price as long as a deposit of $250 per driver is received or mailed to us by Friday, May 9. We will then give you an additional three weeks to make final payments. If for some reason your final project requires fewer drivers- no problem, your down payment will be applied to whatever number of drivers you decide to purchase, as per the terms of the April sales event.

FIRST EVER SALES EVENT:
For more than three years, we have been known for holding our guns on our pricing. The first "Sale" in our history begins April 1, 2008 and will be for the month of April ONLY. As Acoupower is getting ready to bring a few systems to the market, our cash flow is being pushed to the limit. UNCLE. YOU WIN. 15% off the pricing as shown in our "Pricing and New Orders" page. This applies to our drivers only. We don't make money on our high performance port tube sets- they are sold as companions to driver sales.

Systems development continues:
Acoupower will shortly be introducing two full range Pro Audio systems for DJ's, Bars and Clubs. The first system will be a higher end one with a price tag of nearly $3,000.00. The second is a high performance compact system for less than $1,000.00 total. See below (Forum announcement) for more information.

Acoupower Forum:
Acoupower is launching a Forum this week. You be able to see comments and feedback from some of our customers, and the systems they have built and are building. In addition, we will have an area where we will be opening the door to the latter stages of our product development process. As new products come close to production, you will have a chance to see them before they hit the market AND make comments that we WILL listen to and do our best to incorporate in the final product. You will also be able to hear first hand reports of users who have taken our prototypes for a spin in the Boston area.

Still 100% Reliable:
Well more than three years after shipping our first drivers. Not a single Subwoofer Driver has failed OR been returned for ANY reason. The reputation of our products speak louder than any words we could use.

BULLY 15" Driver Discontinued:
Several months ago in this section of our website, we asked you, our customers, about your interest the Bully 15" driver. Over these months, we received two inquiries for this driver, and as a result, have decided to not pursue further production of this driver. There are also, no immediate plans for other drivers, other than our standard, very high performance 15" and 18" units. Down the road, we hope to offer more drivers, but that is not in the immediate future. Our development efforts at this time are being devoted to our new systems.

100% Reliability:

To the best of our knowledge, every Acoupower driver sold is still working fine. We started shipping product three years ago and have yet to receive a customer return for any reason. Even so, we use every opportunity available to us to improve our products. Over a dozen changes have been made to our drivers over the last three years to improve reliability (even more), improve appearance, and improve performance at all levels.

Genesis Jr. Plans available:

The Genesis Jr. is a small box optimized for use with one of our Pro-Audio 15" drivers. The Jr.'s RMS output capability (half space) is 130dB. In a corner, it can deliver 142dB sustained. It's frequency response is very flat from 27Hz to 120Hz. It's compact size is ideal for DJ's and small clubs. We offer complete plans for the Jr. as well as the 7" I.D. port for the lower tuning section.

A few systems on the way:

Acoupower is working on a few subwoofer systems for both home and professional use. We are also working on a full range system composed of two high performance 8" MTM's and one of our Genesis Jr. boxes. Stay tuned for more information on these products.

Bully driver is not in production at the moment:

No permanent decisions concerning the future production of this driver have been made, nor are we alone able to do so at this time.
