    dangerous, that acid stuff.

Can’t I just give you my speaker and you can do this for me?

  4. Acid glue removers …
Acid glue removers work as well. thank you for sharing.

  5. Yeah they are …
Yeah they are rather brittle, so heat carefully or you’ll ruin them with a blow too hard.

  6. PHAIL WREAKED MY …
PHAIL WREAKED MY MAGNET GRRRR COMPLEATLY FELL APART but its still magnetic

  7. On top of that: …
On top of that: magnetization loss because of heating below curie temperatures is spontaneously restored upon cooling.

  8. To be exact, the …
To be exact, the curie temperature for ferrite (MnOFe2O3) is 573 K, so heating up until the glue sizzles is enough and harmless.(no more than a few minutes)

  9. If you take a look …
If you take a look at wikipedia-ferromagnetism, you will see a table giving the so-called Curie temperatures at which demagnetization happens. Heating it like in this movie in a fire will not do the damage you mention unless the material becomes red-hot, so a few hundred degrees K don’t do the damage.

    Sorry Anand,

    Sorry Anand,

Heating a magnet like that should also destroy its field, or at least, decrease the strength.
