Can we use computer loudspeakers and hook it up onto a tv?

sort of a two in one where i can use the loudspeakers on my computer when i am in my hostel and when i get back home i can use it on the tv. is this possible?

Yes. I have not actually done this myself but there is no reason that it should not work.

  2. Most speakers run off a common electrical current . Weather it be AC or DC. It may sound better for the product it was made for . If you have a good amp and the speakers are rated for so many amps . I dont see why it wont work. Just dont put small amp spearkers on something you have modified or has a kicker

    yes it is. the loudspeakers usually have analog connectors which can be connected to your TV’s analog audio port (usually in the front part of your TV). it can also be connected to your stereo set or mp3 players.

  4. I’d say it depends, if the TV has a single prong ear phone jack it would work so long as the computer speakers have a power supply. If the TV has RCA jacks they are input jacks so you’d need to split the signal off the video before it got to the TV. You used the hostel, if your in Europe I have no idea what kind of connectors are used for standard cable. In the US Radio shack and even Walmart have a splitter that has 75ohm cable, RCA jack and S-Video connectors.
