How do i get a job installing car audio?

Hi,

Could you please tell me how i could get a job in installing car audio,security and GPS systems?Do you need some sort of qualification from tafe?at the moment,i’m a 1st year apprentice sparky(electrician). Is that good enough?

Get MECP certified first either via a 12 installation school or just get the book. More info from here… http://www.mecp.com/home.asp . This site will tell you everything you need to know, watch the vid on the homepage. This might get you in the door and some places, alot of places are looking for experience too, so if you’re working on friends cars or your own cars, take pics.
