Can i install a new audio receiver in my car without amps?

i ve never installed a car stereo system before and i was wondering how i could connect my speakers to the receiver? i looked on the back and it didnt look like it had any speaker plugs like a home a/v receiver.

the receiver im looking at is the cda-105

one day i was in my backyard and then………… BAMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!! a bird pooped on me!

  2. yes you can but the best way to do it is go to wal mart or car audio store and get the wire harness for your car. give them the year and make of your car and they should give you the wire harness. just plug into your factory harness and it should work fine

  3. yes you can hook it up with out an amp all u should need is a wire harness that goes from your factory harness to aftermarket you can get that from your local walmart or car audio dealer

  4. yes you can, i would advise ordering from crutchfield, they have special mounting brackets if your head unit is really big, and tey give you wireing diagrams. just the main thing is make sure you hook up the speakers in their rightplaces
