Should a car amplifier be used during the wintertime?
Well I just fixed my car amplifier again for the 4th time, and I just was wondering because its warm in my house say 72-74 degrees and it is like 37 degrees outside, should I be taking my amplifier from inside where its warm, to outside where its 37 degrees and most likely dropping? I also was wondering if inside of a car, should a car amplifier be used at temperatures that are cold like 30 degrees, or will just this subject the amplifier to harm in the long run? Thanks
Well I would just assume that the IC’s being bone froze would possibly warm up too fast and cause harm but if you say they are built for these conditions then I hope the change in heat from inside to outside wont contract any soldier too much
An amp built to be used in a car would be built to deal with the temps a car would be used in. It can be below 0 in the winter time and it can be 150 in the summer inside a parked car.
Do you really think they expect you to unhook it and remove it every time you get out of the car?

During the winter it’s best to let ur amp and subs to warm up a little on low volume since ur subs cones aren’t ass flexible , it’s like trying to drive a car in 20• weather with out warming it up first !!!
