can i wire up a neon light to my car amplifier?

if yes what terminals do i run the wires from the neon lights into? will this damage anything in my car?
what if i have neon lights that pulse to the beat? can i wire up 2? and will this damage my amp?

You can use your positive and negative terminals (Battery + and Ground) to light a neon. The side effect of this will be your neon will dim when the bass hits, and it will draw power away from your amplifier.

(Edit: what "Guard" has stated is incorrect, he is speaking of connecting anything other then speakers to your speaker terminals)

  1. Not if you dont want to screw up your equipment. I know some kits have a socket to plug into your cigarette lighter for power. Others come with a wiring harness. Do not connect this to your amp.

if you connect it to the + and - on the amp the noen will stay on when you dont want it to. the rem wire gives off just enough to run a neon or 2 and it pulls no power away from the amp as apposed to the + and -. and it will cause no adverse affects to your ride.
