Acoupower was founded in September of 2003.   Numerous individuals with a total of hundreds of years of experience in different industries provided valuable input to the planning and specifications for our first products.   Professional Audio industry experts told us that they were disappointed with the ruggedness of subwoofer drivers available, as well high distortion at elevated power levels.   High End Audio industry experts told us of their dismay with the distortion of most drivers at really low frequencies.   Industrial clients simply told us nothing off the shelf met their needs for ludicrous power levels, environmental requirements, and absolute reliability.   As a result, they usually end up designing esoteric systems of their own, resulting in significant cost and time consequences for their programs.
