Car Amps can i turn off with switch remote wire ?
I have a VW t4 van and just fitted a 1000 watt amp and speakers in the back but dont want it on all the time can i put a switch in the remote wire so only front un ammped speakers work
Yes, you can switch the remote line. I get this request a lot. Usually from people with children. Just use a toggle switch to break the circuit.

can you please tell me some car in-dash dvd players that play while driving?
i dont know anything about car systems or car dvd player … buying it for a christmas present - just want some generel knowledge on the item and what are some good brands? pioneer? alpine? thanks so much!
No car dvd players will come from the factory able to play while the car is in motion. There are ways to bypass that safety feature. I am a huge fan of Pioneer in general. I’ve never had an in dash dvd player but I have had the pioneer headunit i have now for five years and its still going strong. I don’t know much about alpine. I think the Kenwood dvd players look cool. They are a bit more expensive though.

Is the man in the ‘just married’ car in P!nk’s ‘So What’ video Screech from ‘Saved by the bell’?
The man in the car in her ‘So What’ video looks exactly like Dustin Diamond aka Screech from Saved by the bell. Does anyone know if it is? Thanks

How many Amps come from the split phase transformer between the two legs?
If a home has a 200 Amp breaker on the main panel, how many amps would the utility transformer supply in total Amps between the split phase legs?
200 A each. It’s just a center-tapped secondary winding, rated for such-and-such amperage.

How come when I record the sound comes out of my sub woofer instead of my speakers?
Everything else comes out my speakers… like when I listen to music and everything, but for some reason the things I record with my microphone come out from my sub woofer.
I think you should give up on asking these question, just sayin.

How do you have multiple amps in one car?
I wanna put in a dual 12" box with a 400 watt amp, and a 15" with an 800 watt amp, with dual 10 inch with a 200 watt amp for each sub. How do I hook all of those up with one RCA in the back of my stereo?
Bridge all of the channels on your most powerful amp to your subs, and then use the other with multi channels to power your mids and highs.

How many amps would a device use per hour from a 12 V battery?
I have a 500W, 240V drill running from a 600W inverter attached to a 12V battery, how many amps would it draw per hour?

it will not power the drill.
First, the "600W" inverter is 600W PEAK not average power. Average is about 300W, and the drill will cause the inverter to shut down.
To find the current (AMPS), use Ohm’s law;
Power equals Voltage times Current

How to convert a home audio subwoofer to go into my car??
i have a JL audio 8 inch home theatre subwoofer and it bumps hard but i want to put it into my car cuz it shakes my walls and stuff… but i dont know how to cuz it runs off of 120 volts AC out of the wall and car audio is DC… what could i do to put it in my car?
Don’t do it. It will not last long. Home audio speakers are not designed for the harsh temperatures and vibration that car audio sustains.

What kind of rear speakers should or should I get a sub woofer or both?
In my 2000 Mitsubishi Galant, I have some Kenwood 3-way speakers in the front doors. I want a little more bass. What kind of rear speakers should I get, or should I get a sub woofer or both?
If your highs are ok and you just want more base then as sub is ok. But it may drown out your highs so you need more powerful ones and maybe even a seperate amp to run them.
