how many amps does a 12 v car battery have?
BATTERY at rest 12 volt most are capable of near 600 cca (cold cranking amps) plus or minus a few hundred. There is normally a sticker or label on top that tells the amperage of a specific battery.

I have a JVC 4 channel, 540W amplifier.
I’m not an electrician but I try.
So I connected all audio and speaker cables correctly.
I run just one kenwood 10" subwoofer.

We have 800 amps coming into a 100 year-old 24 unit building. It would cost $60,000 to increase that to 1600 amps. What standards should we be following? I am considering on buying a hybrid Saturn Vue Greenline. My only concern is this: is hooking up car audio systems (large amps and subs) in hybrid vehicles well documented/possible?
